Temp-to-Hire Opportunities at Diggers Hotline $11/hour

Diggers Hotline Inc., Wisconsin’s One Call Notification Center, is looking for seasonal full-time Call Center Representatives (CCR) to be responsible for answering incoming telephone calls for members, excavators, and homeowners via toll-free and local telephone lines through October 2008 for daytime work shifts in our 24x7 Call Center. As a CCR, you will respond to inquiries & perform ticket locate processing duties on our PCs.

• Pay is $11/hour ($10 during the four week training period) and is not negotiable.

• The training class runs August 4 through August 29. You must be available 8am to 1pm Monday through Friday during the entire training period.

• Temp-to-hire opportunities are available to those hires with the best job performance through October 2008.

You must have at least the following experience to be considered for this position:

• Ability to speak effectively to members and other employees of the organization to express ideas articulately with confidence and tact

• Ability to compose appropriate email and fax correspondence

• Must demonstrate an ability to effectively observe, listen and understand

• Must be able to work in a team or independently with minimal supervision

• Ability to easily learn new applications and troubleshoot basic computer problems

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as policy and procedure manuals, application instructions, and maps.

Candidates with at least 2 years of call center experience with one employer preferred.

We are not on a bus route. You must have reliable transportation.

You must successfully pass a drug screen test prior to the first day of training.
