Dear Member,
You are receiving this letter because one of your Diggers Hotline receiving stations currently has tickets transmitted via fax. The costs to provide tickets via fax have been rising from both the software side to continue to generate tickets in this format and from the provider side to ensure proper transmissions of those tickets. At a recent board meeting, the Board of Directors authorized a change to the fee structure associated with fax transmissions.
As of January 1, 2012, there will be an additional $.25 charged for each ticket transmitted via fax. If you would like to continue to receive faxes after that date, no further steps are required on your end. Diggers Hotline will continue to service your account as it currently is set up and the bills received after that time will reflect the new rates.
If you would prefer to explore other options, please contact Matt Pofahl at (262) 785-5345 or mpofahl@diggershotline.com for information about changing to ftp or email transmissions. Both of those methods will be billed at the standard rates and will not have a surcharge associated with them.
You do not have to make a decision today. We are giving you advanced notice so that you have time to react and decide what is the best way to proceed for your company.
Thank you for your continued support.
Diggers Hotline is Wisconsin's one-call center. Anyone in the state who is digging, excavating or disturbing the soil is required by law to contact Diggers Hotline at least three working days before beginning work.
