Monday, September 6 is Labor Day. As a result, September 6, 2010 will not count towards the three working days needed between calling Diggers Hotline and starting your excavation.
The next legal holiday after Labor Day will be September Primary Day, September 14.
Diggers Hotline is bound by state statute to recognize the legal holidays in Wisconsin. It is not our decision which holidays to recognize or when to recognize them. For a list of legal holidays in Wisconsin, click here.
Diggers Hotline is Wisconsin's one-call center. Anyone in the state who is digging, excavating or disturbing the soil is required by law to contact Diggers Hotline at least three working days before beginning work.
