Changes Coming for Planning Tickets

Effective April 26, there will be a change to the way Diggers Hotline processes planning tickets.

When a user of Diggers Hotline wishes to file a planning ticket, a choice will have to be made between requesting prints and requesting field markings. If a user requires both prints and markings, two tickets will need to be filed.

Utility members of Diggers Hotline handle prints and field marking requests differently, often routing the different requests to different people, different departments or even different vendors. By splitting planning tickets into "Planning - Prints" and "Planning - Locate" Diggers Hotline members will be better able to respond to the requests.

All other details about planning tickets will remain unchanged.

Diggers Hotline is Wisconsin's one-call center. Anyone in the state who is digging, excavating or disturbing the soil is required by law to contact Diggers Hotline at least three working days before beginning work.
