When excavation is complete, it is the duty of the ticket holder to remove marking flags and stakes.  

At large worksites, it is the duty of the general contractor to remove flags and stakes.

If paint marks or flags have been destroyed due to excavation site activities, weather or other means, a relocate request should be filed with Diggers Hotline.
